SUNDAY BITES 004
things that bring JOY
It’s been one of those weeks that felt like a year... so in this installment of Sunday Bites, I am focusing on things that brought joy this week. My younger son has a fever, and the other one has been really into micro naps, that don’t last nearly as long as they used to, and make my work time way too short. So here is a live stream of consciousness of the 1 hour It seems I will have peace today.
I attended my friends Harvey and Richard’s book release party and finally got my hands on “ THE GUIDE TO BECOMING ALIVE.” The book is everything you think it would be and more—and honestly makes for the PERFECT universal holiday gift, because, let's face it, who doesn’t want more joy in their lives?
The Loewe x Suna Fujita is the cutest thing I have ever seen. Honestly, if my kid was having a tantrum but I had to look down at this little bag, or wallet, or cardholder, or even this bag ( under 1k), it would help me cope and at least bring a smile to my face. I am personally also obsessed with this bag, which is the mini version of my everyday bag—the little hamsters just make me so giddy, I can't handle it.
I was just in Colombia, and fell in love with this brand of Bean accessories called By Xan. The pieces are incredible and the quality is excellent, I ended up bring back home 5 pieces. The do not have an online store BUT if you DM them, they can send you a catalog to order from. Ps: the prices are amazing, so it also makes for a great gift.
Speaking of jewelry, if you know me I love little mushrooms and I recently discovered Martina Kocianova’s brand - which is so cool!. The mushroom charms are EVERYTHING.
I said it before and I’ll say it again, CO makes THE perfect wardrobe. I recently got THIS jumpsuit, and I have been wearing it for anything and everything that feels fancy enough to make an effort. I currently have my eyes on this bomber, for when I want to feel casual but cool, but chic? - if you can splurge the leather version is to die for.
I am still trying to manifest this bag into my wardrobe and it brings me as much joy when I look at it as it did 6 months ago - so maybe I should just do it?
Lara Violetta is my new social media obsession. I could watch her makeup tutorials for hours- and in my mind they will turn up exactly like her when I do them on me LOL. I recently saw this tutorial and the makeup feels so perfect for fall? Cool yet doable? Just ordered the chanel shadow set, so stay tuned.
Speaking of Beauty, I don’t know who needs to hear this but Hermes lipsticks are worth every penny. This shade is perfect for every day, and this one has an amazing almost neon effect that lightens up the face. Don’t sleep though, they are both limited edition shades, and they always sell-out, so you have been warned.
Milkteeth has been having a lot of new drops lately. This jacket, makes me want to take my kids to Germany for the holidays, these pants are basically a neutral, and my son made me buy him this jacket as soon as he saw it because he loves anything with fresas. Not sure how these pants haven’t sold out yet - but they are the comfiest and coolest. My son demands to wear them almost daily.
My friend Sofia Elias ONLY makes things that bring us joy. I have been her fan ever since she launched her Blobb rings, and her new bags are just incredible.
If you are going on a beach vacation, these towels are on sale and you need them. all 3 colors to be exact.
Last but not least, everyone needs this camera.
Cheers to this week being over.
Besos,
Victoria
