SUNDAY BITES
A little life update, a mild identity crisis, and the only hair oil that matters
Hi guys,
It feels like it’s been a bit since the last Sunday Bites, so lest’s do a quick catchup before we start shall we?
I went to a women circle feeling like a teen mom & left realizing im going through menopause which you can read all about HERE
Speaking of life updates... we’re moving. No, not New York (yet). We’re leaving Brentwood for Laurel Canyon. Part of me is so excited. Brentwood has been great, but it can feel
a little/very removed from everything, and I’m looking forward to being somewhere with a bit more energy. The other part of me? Absolutely spiraling. We moved into this house right before Phoenix was born. It’s the house where he was a baby. Where the boys became brothers. Where we somehow survived those beautifully chaotic newborn years. I genuinely can’t tell if this is hormones, PMS, or if moving just unlocks emotions you didn’t know were sitting there waiting for you. Because the new house is exciting, but there’s something about leaving the place where you nested. Almost like you’re packing up a version of yourself, too. Maybe that’s why this one feels different. Maybe it’s because it also feels like closing the chapter where I was having babies( and I am so not ready) A few weeks ago I wrote about giving up the thing I wanted most & I still stand by every word, BUT t I have to tell you... actually living that decision is a lot harder than writing about it.On happier news...
Women in AI is back for our second LA dinner on July 21, and I would absolutely love to see some of you there. This time we’re joined by two complete powerhouses: Joan Bumo, who built an AI home assistant, and Cori French, founder of ElixirIQ, an AI operating system for fashion teams. And before anyone thinks, “I’m not technical enough”... neither was most of the room last time. You do not need to know anything about AI, you just need to be curious.
I had so much fun at the first dinner that I somehow ended up helping organize the LA chapter, which probably tells you everything you need to know.
Grab your tickets HERE.
Lastly...Rosalía’s concert was probably the closest I’ve ever come to a religious experience.I’m not exaggerating. Get the tickets.
If you’re wondering what I wore, it’s all on Instagram. I’m also feeling oddly proud of younger Victoria for buying that Ghesquière headpiece all those years ago and somehow having the foresight to keep it. Ps: if you are lookinfg for white sheer dresses my friend Peju made me make an edit so HERE you go.
Anyway, enough chatting, let’s go shopping
My favorite face products EVER just launched a summer set and trust me when I tell you this stuff works. At this point I’ve converted so many friends, you’d think we were running some sort of plasma cult.
